Amazon River, Santarem, Brazil

Today I encountered this fish with a very toothy grin.  He wasn't very friendly, but his gnashers certainly were plentiful and white!  I did my best to show him my own abundant pearly teeth, but he didn't seem very impressed. There are plenty of Piranhas swimming around here in the turbid brown waters of the Amazon.
