From my Button Jar

Today our small group challenge was buttons. After seeing all the things I saw you U K people did to celebrate VE day my thoughts turned to all the military buttons I had so got cracking with the Brasso and shone them up. Some I think are from world war 1 . The brass gadget at the side is what the soldiers put between their buttons and their uniform in order to clean them. I am pretty sure it was my father in laws from world war 1.
