In Nuneaton, Camp Hill area, there are arguably at least two landmarks.
The most promient one that can be seen for miles around is Tuttle Hill (that steep green hill in the background - back left of picture).
If you were able to see it, immediately to the left of Tuttle hill is what looks like a still working quarry and a hole which looks just as deep as this one.
The other landmark featuring in this, is what I understand to be a former quarry now well and truly filled with water. The fencing around this side of the quarry I undertstand to be fairly recent and new, built alongside the new housing estate - a small part of which is still under construction out of sight to the left of this picture, which now surrounds at least half of this deep water feature.
