X Country

I had a terrible journey in the mini bus today. I drove the cross country team to Rochdale, the wind was blowing a gale and blowing the bus, it was quite scary. Fortunately the heavy rain stopped as the children were about to run and started again as we got on the bus to return to school.

We were all yelling, "Come on! You're nearly there! Go on!" and the poor runners puffed their way through mud and up hills. We had some good runners but not good enough to win or get through to the Nationals, but they did their best and had a great time.

I took lots of pics but I need to improve on action shots as quite a few weren't very good but, I liked this one as the runners snaked their way around the course.
