Happy Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day without my mom :(. So, we kept busy with an outdoor project. Didn't avoid all the tears but did talk about happy memories. 

We are building a front patio deck on our house. We have a beautiful back deck and pool, but the sun rises on the front of the house. We will have a nice spot to have our morning coffee or evening drink in the shade when it's hot.

Oh yea, Miya is enjoying a treat from the neighbor dog. It's a natural cheese stick and she let us know she would not be sharing it!
