Different Perspective

Didn't leave the house today. Chilled in the morning. Woke early-ish at 8am and spent time on line. Watched a lovely documentary about the making of 'From Scotland with Love' and posted a bit on facebook. By 10am I started painting and kept at it till 4pm. Woodwork in upstairs hall nearly done. It always takes longer than you think. Two more doors to get one further coat and the last bit of emulsion to do but it is high and will require the assistance of my husband. He'll be working the next five days so we'll see how it progresses. No work was done on the exterior of the living room doors except a few coats of primer on the bits of bare wood. Should of course have done that first but after first coat is fine too. Working a short shift tomorrow but should be able to finish these windows - exterior at least tomorrow. There are lots more exterior windows and gates - front and back that can keep me busy for many more weeks. Scotland sticking with 'stay home, stay safe'. England seem to be going with 'stay alert' which says to me - if you catch corona virus now, it is cause you were not paying enough attention. Not impressed. But keeping my focus in my own world.
