45 Years!

And as Mr L persists in telling me - that’s almost four life sentences. It is our anniversary today, and we spent the morning fulfilling a request from Megan. Her parents have their birthdays just four days apart next week and she has asked us all for a brief birthday message on video that she will edit into a fun birthday video. We took the lockdown theme seriously, and with Mr L needing a haircut and both of us masked up we set to to have some fun with a birthday song. Megan is very happy with the result.

As Alf next door was expecting his usual Sunday roast today we had a celebratory meal with Prosecco last night.

We have watched Boris’ address this evening and I am amazed. Scotland, Wales and Ireland all disagree and are keeping full lockdown in place and yet BoJo is telling people to go back to work, and is anticipating schools taking some primary children back after half term. Well that should be fun! Social distancing in the playground and PE lessons!
