Day45/10 Morning watch

I went to the west side of the village this morning for a change, and was surprised at the number of people out walking. Our East side is much quieter.
The bronze canon, salvaged from the wreck of the Sacramento (1647) in this area is still in perfect condition.
I had a quiet Mother's day, most of it was spent chatting to friends and my kids. When phone calls each last over an hour the day soon passes by.
I am so grateful for a caring family, and for the good laughs I had with the kids which helped my sadness at not spending today with them as had been planned.
