High Wire Swallows

Swifts do it on the wing. Looks like a swallow is trying to do it on a wire.

Swallows used to build every year in the boiler houses of the nursery where I was brought up. We had two ponds so there was plenty of mud for their nests. I can't understand why they don't build in our sheds here as the lake is nearby. I hear them twittering high above but don't see much of them. I was therefore thrilled to see this pair on the wire over the lake. They didn't hang about for long.

Lots of large aircraft have been flying into Stansted today. I managed to capture the cargo Boeing 777F from Guangzhou in China as it emerged from the low cloud. (Extras) I'm wondering if this and some of the other planes were bringing PPE. We're going to need it if people are going back to Covid ready workplaces as there is speculation that the public will be required to wear face masks/coverings on public transport and whilst shopping and that employers will be required to supply PPE for their staff.
