Feathery

This is one of this years chickens that we found in the ducks nest. They hatched earlier about six weeks ago and so the children have been caring for them. They are hoping that this one is a girl, it’s friendly and enjoys playing with the lamb.

It’s been a chilly wet day today, we have made time for a walk but the rest has been spent largely indoors. Gale force winds are due this evening so everything has been battened down.
