What I’m reading right now

I first heard of P.O. Enquist, the eminent Swedish writer, from LisahTevell’s April 27 blip, where she announced his death. I quickly acquired copies of this English translation and two others (his works, it turned out, were only available as used books in America). Though I’m only partway through, I can already say that “The March of the Musicians” is a terrific novel — unlike anything I’ve ever read, and highly recommended.
