ENE 18 mph : Chill 3 degrees

What a difference a cold front makes. Last night’s rain and accompanying wind irrigated the gardens and shred the blossom. It also denuded the beach of bathers. In fact it was very quiet indeed after yesterday’s visitor invasion. The Sunday papers made for interesting reading. It is hard to see what Mr Johnson has to say this evening that somebody in his sieve like Cabinet has not already leaked.
