Kittens Tails

Yellow kittens tails,
Dancing happily in the breeze,
Spring is soon to come.

I love it when the catkins start to come out and the snowdrops nod their heads ... a sure sign that Spring is on it's way .....

Apparently the word "catkin" is derived from the Dutch word katteken, meaning "kitten", on account of the resemblance to a kitten's tail. I don't know how true this is, but I would quite like it to be.

Slightly less of an emergency blip than yesterdays Blu Tack, at least I got outside today!
