Small Town restaurant Renggam

Can you believe this small town was visited by Queen Elizabeth in the 1950’s. Even with highways it took me forever to reach here, I cannot imagine back then! Rengam is surrounded by large oil palm plantation which belonged to the British back then under Guthrie. Fast forward to 1981, British lost this crown jewel to Malaysia during a daring takeover of which is famously called the Dawn Raid. Guthrie is now Sime Darby one of the largest (if not the largest) oil palm plantation company in the world.
