We decided to cycle across the border anyway, because else we had to cycle along a busy road. The crossing is about 3 kilometers through Germany. I regret our decision, because it turned out that not only we, but also all Belgian and German cyclists had that thought and I felt very frustrated and unsafe.
It is unclear to me how come that those Germans and Belgians can cross the border and cycle into the Netherlands without any problems. Anyway, the small village of Orsbach was an international hub today.
