Flagging A Little ....

....... after yesterday's celebrations? This chap certainly seemed to be when we saw him on the way back from this afternoon's walk on Street Hill. So were we as it was as hot as mid-summer today..

We woke up quite late this morning so, what with that and the heat, decided to give our Saturday run a miss. Chris, who did go, reckoned we made the right choice. Instead we pottered in the garden, doing some more potting up.

We had a lovely surprise when we got back from our walk: Chris had arranged for a local tea room to deliver us a cream tea. They can't open at the moment so have found a way to keep some money coming in. Anyway, it was a very kind thought on Chris's part and we're looking forward to having it tomorrow.

While I was cooking dinner (Chiken Katsu Curry) I listened to the first J in my LP collection, Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" from 1971. Here they are performing "Wond'ring Aloud"
