09052020 57th Corona isolation day w/ alleviation

Just a collage of pictures I've taken today. Just a mess really. One of them being an accidental one. Can you guess which one?

It's been a day of huge disappointment. Our health district did not make it to phase 1. From Alicante province Alicante city, Elche, Crevillente and Santa Pola were left out. And the weird thing is that not even the highest health authority of whole Valencian community Ana, know why. All the mayors of respected cities have made statements that our numbers met the criteria. Alicante Mayor even when so far that he said that El Gobierno must have knowledge of some kind of risk or danger that he does not have. Señora Ana will meet the ministry on Monday and ask what can be done to move to phase 1. She had the highest hopes that we would move to phase 1 even before Monday 18th. Live to see.

We saw Maria when we took the dogs out this evening. Her husband is an ICU doctor in our province and works in two hospitals. She told us that Her husband said that our health district does not have enough ICU beds to qualify for the next phase. THE THING IS THAT WE'VE NEVER HAD MORE EVEN AT THE PEAK OF THE PANDEMIA. So we'll be at phase 0 forever if they don't sort that out. Also we are missing some gear that districts are supposed to have certain amounts. But guess what? Those were sent to Madrid at the beginning of the pandermia.

Clearly we've had it really bad as preparedness the whole time. No one from El Gobierno has cared, but now that we are on the better side, they suddenly do care. We had the best numbers of all of our province when it comes to how many infected and how many has died.

And then even when and if we make it to phase 1 at some point, nearly nothing changes for us. We''ll still have schedule to go out. But apparently we can go to terrace anytime we want to. Go figure!
