Another lovely day, and very warm with a light wind.  Great to dry the washing and I got a load of towels washed and dried, love the smell when dried out of doors.

C and K went shopping early today and avoided long queues, but still could not get eggs and flour.  However, C will try again locally and hopefully get them tomorrow.  Had a nice long socially distanced chat with them, and was pleased that the masks I made for them seemed to be a great success.  More people are wearing them now.

Had lunch then made some potato salad to have with our salmon and salad leaves for dinner.  And in between I watched Katherine Jenkins on U-tube at the Royal Albert Hall, some wonderful singing and I loved 'Jealous of Angels' particularly, so poignant.

And spent some time sitting on the deck with the newspaper.  Cali brought the makings of mint and choc ice cream cones, with strawberry sauce..... and we did enjoy them...….

 The azaleas have suddenly burst into flower!
