Lapwing with a view...

For the first time since the lockdown, I drove a short distance in my car up to the tops and had a walk along the road. V few walkers and cars but so many cyclists, none of whom seemed to want to give me any space so I zig-zagged to and fro across the road every time they came near. Great views up there and noisy lapwing & curlew but I think I'll stick to my early walks from home.

My extra is cotton grass which I love. It looks as though it might be a good year for it.
