Shiny Pretty Things

My next door neighbour gave me three pea plants. Another neighbour gave me some surplus CDs so I could make a pigeon scarer. The pea plants are now in the ground under a tripod of garden canes with the CDs hanging off them. It's all a bit hand-knitted but I'm hoping they do the trick. I suppose they might attract the magpies and jackdaws though. And the poor peas will need a fleece blanket if the weather forecast is to be believed. Today is still warm but the temperature is set to take a dive tomorrow. I've stopped planting out in case of frost but next week there's seedlings I must get into the garden.
