Homemade bunting
Mr C wondered what I was up to with A4 paper and some felt tip pens, that had been in the drawer for so long I had expected them to have dried up. This was the end result.
Mr C set about re felting our shed roof with help from me at the beginning. I was the cutter and holder. Once all in place he was happy to carry on whilst I had a shower. Lucy and I then dressed (up), got some Pimms ready with some nibbles and settled down to watch the VE Day broadcast at 3pm.
Lucy and I took Ruby for her stroll whilst Mr C got the supper ready and then it was family quiz time, hosted by moi this week. Always so lovely to see everyone. Sim and Natalie should have been in the Dominican Republic sipping pina coladas but they have rebooked for next year. Josh and Natalie had a little street party going on so they were both quite merry during quiz, lovely to see.
Happy VE Day.... thanking all those that fought for our country and freedom and also thanking all those that are currently doing a tremendous job at keeping us up and running and safe.
Take care x
