Pretty

Another beautiful day, another breakfast outside, a bit of gardening, biscuit making and a walk, exploring a few tracks alongside nearby fields that we didn't remember doing before. And our weekly meal treat, this time posh takeaway fish supper, which was pretty good.

I hadn't really been aware of what was meant to be happening on the VE Day 75th anniversary today, but broke the habit of a lifetime and watched all of the Queen's Speech, and the We'll Meet Again singalong. It seems even more important in these days that people remember what can happen if bigotry/racism are allowed free rein.

But.. street parties? Why have I never been invited to one?
