The Last Post

Strange day - good in many ways but the virus threat is still hanging over us. Today is the 75th anniversary of VE Day and lots of plans had been made. Reality turned out to be somewhat different with all groups meeting up having to be socially distant.

All bandsmen had been asked to pay 'The Last Post' at 3:00pm. Our neighbour Ray, had his shining tuba at the ready and his band uniform on as well. This drew quite a crowd from the nearby houses and immediate neighbours gathered together - as socially far apart as is permitted.

Looks like nothing much will change on Sunday when Boris makes his announcement!
