hidden in plain sight

Irises are one of my favorite flowers. My mother used to grow them in her flower garden when I was growing up in Maryland. And I inherited some with the home we bought in Pennsylvania. They also grow here in Colorado, but I just enjoy what others have planted. Come to think of it, I've done that all my life!
As I was shooting this freshly blooming yellow iris, I noticed the winged creature inside, blending in with the iris's brown stripes.
