Tea For Two

A socially distant street party on our road, marking the VE Day commemorations.
Each household put chairs outside their home & chatted with neighbours to either side & over the road. The folks next door to us put in some extra effort in the wardrobe department, as you can see! 
Meanwhile the elderly couple across from us blasted out favourite tunes from the ‘40s from their upstairs window, on a surprisingly powerful sound system.
My request for Noel Coward’s ‘Don’t Let’s be Beastly to the Germans’ was ignored.
