Chatting distancing style

An early message from Moria this morning. She was at the beach walking her dog, and would stop on the way back for a chat over the garden wall! It was so nice to chat face to face, and have a little moan about what life is like for each of us in lockdown with our menfolk 24 hours a day!

I spent most of the day in the garden, lopping trees and re potting some plants. Made a simmer cake in the afternoon. I attempted this at Easter and disastrously took it out the tin too early causing total collapse. At that point I froze the the rest of the marzipan and had another go today. It looks alright though not tasted yet!
