VE DAY CELEBRATIONS

What a difference, had no real plans for today, got up as if it was a work day, walked dogs and then to the baking.

* cheese scones
* coffee and walnut cupcakes
* Victoria sponge

11 am stood outside the front door along with other neighbours for the minutes silence.

At 12:15, fleetingly saw the spitfire that flew directly over our house.

Made an impromptu Union Jack banner.

Set up on the front drive for 3pm raise a glass.

Then socially distancing along the street chatting to neighbours (we thankfully live at the end of a cul-de-sac). Lovely to catch up. :)

We packed up at 6pm ..... but some neighbours continued into the evening ..... :)
