Lemon Cake

A surprise visit from friends who brought me lemon cake and Haribo. I enjoyed the cake with a cuppa this afternoon. A walk over Shipley Glen. Many seemed to have social distance VE Day celebrations today and although I didn’t really do much I did observe the silence this morning and have dipped in and out of VE Day TV today. I spoke to Mum on the phone and she was upset today which upset me. She misses everyone as do I. I’ve struggled this week but I feel a bit better this evening. Reading a new book called This Naked Mind.
