Emergency blip

VE Day. 75 years. Set a related quiz for my class, then settled in the garden to enjoy the rest of the day in too-hot sunshine. At 3pm Heidi got a text to join some of our not-so-nearby neighbours in front gardens, celebrating with wine and cake, so I embarrassed myself by bring my pan out to entertain. Played a few wrong notes, but what the heck! Then, to the embarrassment of C and J, I repeated the performance at 9, after the Queen’s address. The singing was so bad they needed some direction! The gang from earlier came marching down the road to join in (2m apart)!! It was strange, but fun!!!
