Our Clematis Montana has never looked better.  I've been busy in the garden today, planting up, making a mess and tidying up.  

On this VE anniversary day we have much to remember and be thankful for but it's always a rather sad reminder to Mr H as his Father never came home to enjoy the celebrations having lost his life in Italy in 1944.  However, we've enjoyed the lovely television coverage of memories and tributes this evening and now on ward to these strange times .........

'We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day' - thank goodness for Blip where we can meet up every day and share each others daily memories.
