blueberry blossom

Today was a lovely day.  We went to the old runway with the bikes this morning.  Ivy loved it and Bea enjoyed parts of it but also wanted carrying a lot.  She did manage to peddle a little herself for the first time and was very pleased with herself.

We came home and joined the 2 minute silence on our drive with our neighbours.  It was very moving. 

After lunch I set up the girls paddling pool on the front drive with their little slide.  Our neighbours opposite had done the same and I thought it was a good idea.  We sat on the drive for over 4 hours and had a great time and enjoyed afternoon tea in the company of lots of neighbours on the opposite side of the road doing similar.
