Pollen on flowers

We have an incredible about amount of yellow tree pollen around at the moment. Apparently, the levels are the highest for 70 years. You can see pollen coming of the conifers in clouds each time there is a slight breeze. Everything left outside is covered in a layer in minutes. Even the leaves on these flowers had a light covering.

Went up the Col de la Croix this afternoon on the electric bike. It was great to have the road to ourselves but it will be a different story tomorrow as the road opens at 20h this evening.
