Memorial service .....

...... steamed!
Today didn't go unnoticed , it was poignant words uttered by the Bishop and by the prayers uttered via steam by various churches. A lovely reading by Timothy West , from his own garden.
I have recorded a few photos' of those who lost their life's , as my devise doesn't allow me to put " extra's" , I shall make my collage of these tomorrow cos ' I really feel it should be recorded.
Altho' my father wasn't in the services , I was thinking hard about this . He worked in a munitions factory had an hours journey to work and was in the ARP ( Air Raid Patrol) every night . After a day's work and a journey ,which could also have been dangerous, I'm sure that these men shouldn't be forgotten either. An analogy could be the NHS and Key workers . My father didn't speak of his experiences , but I know from what the family told me , he like many others didn't have it easy . Living in the Midlands ( the heart of the nuts and bolts) I don't think it was a walk in the park for anyone . Added to which at that time I was very ill which must have presented my parents with even more stress. So I give thanks to ALL who gave their life's in all ways to give us the freedom we have today.
Which brings me to another thing - - - - please don't fail on any advise given to help the recovery from this Coronavirus 19 . So many are working so hard for us , and in many cases are loosing their life too. We will get by and come out the other side hopefully a better society .
Stay safe everyone and enjoy the rest of your day.

Grateful ..... for those who have and still are giving their life so I may live.
