VE Day afternoon tea

We had a socially distanced street party this afternoon. I knocked up 3 batches of scone : plain/ fruit / cheese. Also some homemade lemonade to use up 3 manky lemons. It’s been a lovely afternoon, weather wise and nice to see the neighbours. Most of them had made up my paper chains if they had nothing else but lots of flags and bunting too. I strolled down and spoke to everyone, most of whom I haven’t seen for the whole of lockdown. Wee going back out at 9 to sing!
