75 years ago

The old folk have been very much on my mind today.

Top picture is my Grandfather and Auntie Sybil.  My Grandad  was in the Home Guard and Sybil was in the A.T.S.  (Auxillary Territorial Service)

Lower picture is of my Dad, when he was serving in the army in the Middle East towards the end of WW2.

No picture of Lady B, but she is very much in my thoughts.  She was a fire watcher in WW2 and her husband to be, Ed's father, was a submarine commander.    

I am having a tot or two of rum in memory of them.
