My first bug of the year

I needed something from the village shop so I thought I would walk down rather than drive, but it is quite a long way as it is at the other end of the village. It was a lovely walk, if a little chilly in the wind, so I didn't mind too much when they didn't have what I wanted and had to come back empty handed. It was on the way back, when I was considering a blip of ivy seeds that I spotted this little ladybird sitting in the sun, I was thrilled to see it and snapped several shots, my blip was sorted. I think it is probably a little early for ladybirds to be emerging so I hope it will be alright, but I guess it was just taking advantage of some beautiful weather - I don't blame it :-)
