VE Day isolation style

We have exceptionally lovely neighbours where we live. E on one side has just qualified as a nurse and P the other side is a nurse long since retired. Her husband H is in hospital/ a care home having suffered yet another bought of pneumonia (thankfully not Covid as yet). Sis decided we should have a tea party and I suggested we ‘invite my the neighbours - so we did:-) E and we provided the food and E the bunting and we sat and had a proper old chinwag. A guy in the village put the amp on and sang ‘we’ll meet again’ and everything was right with the world.
