Another planet

We decided to take bus trip to see a bit more of the island. Just over 100 years a volcano erupted and it is currently 'sleeping' The lava has made the surface of the island look like another planet. There is very little greenery. It has gone back to the start of evolution again. Only primitive plants like lichen are present and you can see the development occurring. Quite interesting to a geek like me who enjoys plants and evolution. There are many 'underground' tunnels and caves. These are just a couple of them. The water was crystal clear.
