The Last of Autumn

A windless day, so still a lot of leaves hanging on.
This one was just outside the kitchen window.

I had to go to Katoomba this afternoon, and was hoping for a human, or two, but not to be:)

Life after lockdown felt a little closer and clearer today as Prime Minister Scott Morrison released a three-step plan to reopen the country following a meeting of the national cabinet.

Under the first stage, five people could visit a home, 10 be together in a business or public place, 30 mourners attend a funeral, and 10 guests celebrate a wedding. Restaurants and cafes would reopen to (socially distant) dine-in business, libraries and playgrounds could entertain bored kids, and people travel where they like within their own state.

Gladys, our state premier, has stressed she would not rush into lifting any more restrictions and the next major changes to lockdown life in NSW would likely be seen later this month, or by June.
