Thoughtful Thursday

An ordinary day. Most days are following a pattern. Even the weather seems the same. Cool start, dry, sunny then warmer.

My hayfever was bad this morning ( tree pollen being the cause) I woke with streamy eyes. 

We stayed in to wait for the parcel to arrive. It did and the pot was intact . 

A wander round the estate , aiming for the grassy areas for Fletch. 

Message my sis in law. Her birthday present arrived earlier than expected..better late than never. Disappointed that we can't meet up in Malham next week.

Teatime walk with Fletch up to the dock. A beautiful evening. A cloudless blue sky with no wind. The water was like glass and it was so peaceful. I suddenly felt like crying as the reality of what is going on on the world hit me.
The headlines today have hinted at a relaxed lockdown but I doubt if there ll be much change . It's too early and I am resigned to it. 
I remind myself that I'm one of the lucky ones..and of course I am. 
An extra loud bout  of clapping at 8 pm tonight not just for the NHS ( who do deserve it ) but for everybody.
