Town Church

Taking pictures whilst being ‘confined’ to one place is less than inspiring at times. Last night, I saw on Facebook that someone had had the bright idea (no pun intended) to illuminate the Town Church. So I dutifully waited for dark and drove into town. And I waited and waited some more. Having driven to the yacht pond to take pictures of Castle Cornet, also illuminated, I thought someone had forgotten to switch it on! Not so, obviously a church steeple has four sides and I had been looking at the wrong two sides!! Yes, I know, stupid but but I thought they would have illuminated the sea side of the tower, until I questioned where there would be able to project from, given that there is only sea! Anyway, here’s the picture!!
