Switching off

It’s hard to switch off from work when there’s no real boundary between work and home anymore. There’s certainly something to be said for a commute to clear the mind and mark the time between work and home, and I don’t think I’ll take that for granted again. I made sure I properly finished all my work today so that I could turn off the laptop, tidy my desk and be ready for a fresh week on Monday. Ridiculously satisfying.

A walk, a beer, a fish paella and a chat with the neighbours post-clap was a nice way to end the day.
