Lockdown Day 45 - Holidays Are Not Cancelled!

Well, OK, most holidays ARE cancelled right now! But we have a very warm couple of days (and nights) ahead, and it’s a ‘Bank Holiday’ this weekend in the UK, so I decided it was time to put up the tent. I’m not sure if I’ll get to use Alfie the Campervan this season, so why not camp in the garden a few times this summer? Crazy, I know. But these are crazy times.

This is a very quick-erect tent, but it’s not a warm tent, because it doesn’t have a double skin, so I hope I’m warm enough tonight! I do love sleeping outside! It makes me miss Dolly a little bit. She always got SO excited if I put the tent up and couldn’t wait to go to bed.

The news is full of the fact that the government is likely to start slowly relaxing lockdown rules from Monday. We will find out more on Sunday and we know it will be very small steps at first. We all have different opinions on what freedom we’d like to enjoy. I think I’d like to be able to go visit my friends and family, though I think for awhile I’d rather do that visiting in the garden rather than indoors. As long as the weather stays warm!
