Pasqueflowers

I just made it to visit Barnack Hills and Holes before these gorgeous wild flowers finished. They’re really special and I first visited this site over 40 years ago, in what feels like a previous lifetime. The site is where the limestone for Peterborough and Ely cathedrals was quarried by hand (hence the hills and holes) in medieval times. Extra attempts to show you the profusion.
