Had an early run this morning. Delightful running conditions accompanied by birdsong. Back home by 9am to tackle the window frame. Despite coats of paint stripper there are still older coats of paint which I am still struggling to remove. Leaving the stripper on overnight will hopefully get to work on the last layers.

Encountered this mannequin in the tea garden near our local woods. They have been opening on a weekend for socially distancing coffees. Perhaps there will be something on the go for tomorrow’s VE bank holiday tomorrow.

Our street is definitely doing its bit for the Thursday evening 8pm clap. We had a young man playing his trumpet tonight. After just a few to start with the momentum has gradually built as the weeks have gone on.
