The longer the better.

On the gravel area we have many wild plants, years ago I tried to keep it clear, now it’s free. Two of the plants are the yellow poppy and this tiny yellow creeping plant. It has appeared recently and wonder, open to your comments, is it yellow pimpernel? When checking the wild flower book the petals, stem and leaf it look similar
