Instead of the weekly supermarket shop that I’ve been doing since the start of lockdown I just popped to our local Tesco soon after it opened and got everything we need for the long weekend and all in a basket. 

I forgot the bananas (they weren’t on the list) but picked some up on the way home from our afternoon walk. A former neighbour who now lives in Grasmere spotted me and called from her car so we had a chat through the half open window. It was good to talk to someone different. 

The boathouse in the blip is just beyond Waterhead. Light wasn’t good for landscape shots but I’ve added two as extras for anyone who’s missing the scenery.
