A lovely morning...
with sun and great views of the Plateau. There is a Lapwing in the bottom of this picture and at this is the domain of Skylarks and Lapwings. Further over it is the nesting site for Curlew. Through the woods there are Wrens, Willow Warblers and Chaffinches. Oystercatchers are everywhere, but birds are territorial in the main.
The extra is the first Speckled Wood of the year. There were also Orangetips.
In the late afternoon we lost the sun.
