Inspiration

I needed to produce a photograph for another site, representing “someone who inspires you”
 
I chose Madhur Jaffrey, actress, food and travel writer and television personality.
 
When she appeared on the BBC in the early 1980s, I was completely captivated and started cooking her curry recipes with great enthusiasm, opening my eyes and taste buds to a genre of food I had never appreciated or understood.
 
Now she occupies a spot in the boarding house of my heart, with the Sainted Delia Smith and Nigella Lawson.
 
This, therefore is the photo, now being used for Blipfoto as well.
