Had a long overdue tidy up of the shelves in the garage. They were originally put there for food cans etc but husband had gradually taken them over with various tools, rawl plugs, screwdrivers, drill bits and anything else you can name tools-wise. I boxed up a lot of small electrical bulbs and labelled the box thus. Only to be told ‘ they’re not bulbs, they’re lamps.
Bulbs are what you put in the ground.’
